Check Your Gear Before Tandem Skydiving
You are required to wear diving gear when go skydiving. It consists of bodysuits, helmet, boots, gloves, parachute, and other paraphernalia. The dropzone may not be able to supply you each and everything. Therefore you must call them up once to prepare a checklist of the things you need and need not carry. Though there will be a safety instructor and you co-driver, it is mandatory that you check your gear yourself. You can ask your safety instructor about the different techniques to check the safety of the gear you are going to use. If you have a height of above 6.5 ft then you should inform the institute from before. It is because they might not have gears for people of such height at that particular moment. Hence they will get the time to arrange for it.
If you are going to tandem skydive for the first time, then you must make sure you record the entirety of it. In fact you can also ask the divers you going to dive with you to record. But it is a once in a lifetime experience and not recording it will only make you feel sad later on. There are also videographers who can be hired to record your flight. It takes only minutes before you come down. Likewise, to not record it will be a mistake. You can take the recording and cherish it with your family and friends for the rest of your life.
Try not to panic when you are up there. Every skydiver in the world gets nervous just before he or she jumps from the plane. It is very much natural for a person to feel that way. One cannot ignore it. Exhale and inhale. These are the two main things which a skydiver needs to remember. You can shout out your lungs once you dive because of the adrenaline. Breathe in oxygen as much as you can to avoid problems. The air is thinner higher up, so less oxygen. If you don’t breathe properly you will feel pain in your ears, eyes. There will be a tingling feeling in your stomach.
