Choosing A Skydiving Center
To experience the thrill of skydiving, you must visit a skydiving center. All skydiving centers have professional trainers and instructors. You can choose according to their license. The highest ranked skydiver will have a D license. These instructors are highly skilled and have performed more than 500 sky jump.
You need to arrive early in the morning at the center. The instructor will give you a briefing about the activity. You need to sign some paperwork before starting off. Instructions For Tandem Sky Jump dive
Being a beginner you are a student with very little knowledge about skydiving. On the contrary, the instructor is your teacher. Thus, you need to follow his or her lead. As you need to perform certain things while hovering, the instructor will be accompanying you. These types of dives are called tandem dives. It demonstrates the timing of diving, body posture while hovering, exact time to deploy the parachute, etc.
Even though sky jump gives us immense adrenalin rush, you need to be focused and calm all at the same time. Keep your legs up while hovering and check the altimeter. The instructor will demonstrate your responsibilities for the activity. This training session of demonstrating procedures requires 20 to 30 minutes only.
How To Make A Successful Skydive?
- Before the Activity – It is a big moment for anyone as you are about to experience something extraordinary. The instructor will get you ready for the sky jump. You will be handed over a jumpsuit, goggles, altimeter, helmet, parachute bag, and the harness. The instructor will join in with you and there will be other divers as well. These divers are either tandem divers or experienced divers performing group or solo jumps.
- During the Sky Jump – You will be flying high in an airplane. On reaching a certain altitude, divers will jump at the drop zone. You too need to jump now but don’t worry as your instructor is there. You will feel tense, nervous or super excited, it’s all normal. Looking down from that point gives a different feeling, you might scream at the top of your voice. You will be speeding down towards the surface. After reaching a certain level of height, you need to deploy the parachute.
- After the Activity – Once the parachute is deployed, the instructor will slow down its speed for a gentle arrival. The instructor will cut you loose from the parachute and return to the base.
